Promax Global Excellence Awards
Paramount Africa, known as a trailblazer in television and multimedia broadcast, continues to achieve remarkable success, securing six prestigious awards at the highly acclaimed Promax Global Excellence Awards held on December 7 at NeueHouse Madison Square in New York City. These annual awards, recognized as the world’s top prize for outstanding achievement in entertainment marketing and design, honor the best of the best of brand-defining campaigns.
Promax is the global association for the entertainment marketing industry, representing thousands of people who create, market, and distribute content in media, fostering community, creativity, and inspiration to drive bottom-line results.
Paramount Africa’s exceptional creativity and innovation were recognized with six wins across various categories:
- Gold for Brand Image Design Promo: Life Can Be Bizarre – Comedy Central
- Gold for Public Service Announcement Promo or Campaign: Boobtober – Comedy Central
- Silver for 360 Campaign: Seasonal/Special Event Program: The Comedy Central Roast Of Khanyi – Comedy Central Africa
- Silver for Social Cause Promo or Campaign: Boobtober – Comedy Central Africa
- Bronze for Delivering on a Dime: 10Tertainment October – Comedy Central Africa
- Bronze for Block of Programming Promo or Campaign: Best Of Dads – Comedy Central Africa
This triumph follows Paramount Africa’s outstanding performance, securing 28 wins at the Promax Africa Awards in November. The Promax Global Excellence Awards highlight Paramount Africa’s mission to craft compelling, innovative, and impactful campaigns that resonate with audiences on a global scale. Paramount Africa has also excelled in delivering socially impactful campaigns such as ‘Boobtober’ which was aimed at raising awareness on Breast Cancer by creating a montage that depicts breasts through the ages, from ancient times to the present day.
In a continued showcase of the power of creativity to not only capture attention but also do it in a modern and intriguing way was the ’10-Tertainment’ campaign which was created to promote a new time slot on Comedy Central at 10 PM, featuring curated shows on different days of the week.
