Each kasi (township) has produced young dynamic people who inspire greatness. Young people that seek the good of their hood and represent the strength and resillience of an African Child. Tiego is one such young dynamic person.
Born and raised in Tembisa Tiego Lehlogonolo Ntlhane currently works as an assistant teacher at Khatlamping primary school. Third born and only daughter at home.
My entire primary school life I was in boarding school. However my high school learning was at Bertharry English private school. Then furthered my tertiary at Oxford combined college.
I started having the feeling of helping people from the age of 15 and wanted to have my own foundation. More especially focusing on kids. Helping people is what I believe makes me one of the dynamic young people in my hood.
I have an organization which is called Feed Them Hope Foundation for which I partnered with my sister Kgomotso Kekana. We do activities such as :
- aerobics
- modeling
- extra lessons
- sports
- environmental health care
- Feed Them Hope feeding scheme
- charity campaign
I also tutor in mathematics, sepedi and creative Arts.
The main reason I became a model was to learn leadership skills, be able to engage with different people from different regions.
I had great highlights such as performing for Dr Motsepe. My low-lights were not securing as many titles as I would have liked.
But I am blessed and proud to have the drive to achieve other things. And that is because I come from ikasi eli dope which gave birth to Street food market and Pizza Sundays. This inspires more young dynamic people to want to achieve greatness.
Just because someone has never done it doesn’t mean you can’t do it. Creativity rules everything so make sure you utilize and stretch your creativity in everything you do, you might just find yourself doing something that has never been done before!
