King Razo primary level >kwa Shembe Primary School >high level started at aMandlethu Secondary School then left to Mvaba High school (Ematikwe 5)from grade 8 to grade 12 Primary level started eKusasalentsha primary school>high level at Ezakhe high (kwaMashu L section) no qualifications obtained both of us we are using our Talent.
We followed our dreams both of us we take an advantage of that God give us a wonderful voices to heal the world with music and we believe that music is a life.
Low light of our journey is when we have been trying so hard to show people what we had; since 2005 pushing our demos selling them to the community; visiting other schools when they have music sessions; visiting local radio stations attending local gigs; and meeting big producers to take our art to the next level.
High light of our journey was in 2015; we decided to move from KZN to Johannesburg for greener pastures; finally we met a guy by the name of Lungile Zwane from Duduza (Masichaba). People know him as a big talented producer in the Eastrand; we tarted working together and he welcomed us with open hands (saqala ukusebenza same day); (we started working on the same day).
Along the way we have worked with Bongo Riot on a track called Ma Africa. Other artists we have worked with are K-bion, Happy-line and Mncedisi
Then we started to promote our single track call BAYADELELA; we started at local radio station at KWATSADUZA Ek 103.06 fm; and it reached number 2 spot on the UKhozi FM weekend charts iNamba namba; we had an interview at SABC 2 and Chanel 404 respectively.
One of Durban Poison member Stix Manyanyisa got a call from Andile Mpisane who asked us to write him a song called UYANG’QHASKHA which featured many artists such as Dladla Mshunqisi, Andile Fikizolo, Stix Manyanyisa & DJ Tira and the song was produced at Afrotainment by DJ Tira and Prince Bulo.
Lessons learned during the journey is that everything has its time; we must be patient all the times; and we must not taking people for granted; working together is the best way to overcome bad things coming our way.
We work in community to help those less fortunate. Apart from music we have day jobs to pay bills. Sometimes things get really tough but we have a dream to pursue and we won’t stop.
